Hi all!

We have a member who is trying to rehome some cats. (See the attached photos!!) They are all very sweet and as well trained as cats can be. (They tend to be their own masters.) If you or someone you know is interested in adopting a feline friend, please reach out and we can get you connected.

Become a Dementia Friend on Monday, June 16th from 4-5 PM at Clintonville Books!

Dementia Friends is a global, call-to-action movement developed by the Alzheimer's Society in the United Kingdom and now underway in the United States.

In this free, one-hour training to become a certified Dementia Friend, we will cover the basics of dementia, including common types, signs, and symptoms, communication tips, community resources, and more.

The goal is to help everyone in our community understand how dementia impacts individuals and families, and things we can each do to make a difference in the lives of those affected.

[Image Description: Event flyer with bold blue text that says "Become a Dementia Friend," a central blue and yellow forget-me-not flower (the symbol associated with dementia awareness), and sponsor logos of the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, Village in the Ville, and Clintonville Books.]
