Building community with your fellow organizers is essential to effective resistance movements. The bonds you create with your members not only influence the outcome of your organization’s mission, but they also establish your community as a coalition of leaders.

How do we nurture trust within an organization?

One answer of many: 1-on-1s.

We will dip our toes into the tried-and-true method of trust-building this Monday, September 28, at 6pm in Knowlton 177.

Join us to develop your own leadership skills!

Last Friday, OHYCJ made our message clear:
we reject OSU’s ban on chalking as a violation of free speech, and we reject OSU’s partnership with the AI weapons manufacturer, Anduril.

Thank you to AAUP-Ohio State for the faculty support, and thank you to the speakers, chanters, and other participants who backed us up!! 💚💚

We will keep the pressure going—this is just the start.

Join us in our social where we will discuss climate change, climate justice, and what we can do about both on the OSU campus!! Snacks provided!

While Earth’s average temperature is projected to surpass the 1.5C threshold, do you know what’s NOT getting hotter? Ohio State’s support for genocide, ecocide, and mass surveillance.

OHYCJ and its supporters will be protesting against Ohio State’s ongoing partnership with Anduril, the AI arms and technology manufacturer, in Chalk Against Anduril. Along with its undemocratic sponsorship deals, Ohio State has also been stifling student voices with the chalking ban and intruding on students’ everyday lives with flock cameras.

We don’t stand for this, and you shouldn’t either.

Demonstrate your power as students and fight for an environmentally just campus on Friday, September 18th at 3pm. We hope to see you there!!

Today Mayor Andrew Ginther and Police Chief Elaine Bryant have paused the use of Flock Cameras around the city.

🌎 THIS IS JUST THE START! JOIN US AT KNOWLTON 177 FOR OUR NEXT MEETING AND PLAN OUR NEXT STEP TOGETHER

We will continue putting pressure through our collective action!
