Junior League of Columbus Over the years, the Junior League of Columbus, GA has been instrumental in many worthwhile projects that make our community a better place.

The Junior League of Columbus (JLC) is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Some of those projects include: opening the first pediatric wing at the old City Hospital, equipping children's playrooms at the Medical Center, helping the Historic Columbus Committee get started, work

ing to save the Springer Opera House and many other locally significant historic structures from the wrecking ball, providing significant funding to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Medical Center, equipping the children's Transformations Gallery at the Columbus Museum, and helping establish the local Ronald McDonald House. We will continue this legacy of service and commitment to our community as we go forward into the future.

Recently, the JLC was proud to send SIX members to the Association of Junior Leagues International Annual Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, our members participated in leadership development opportunities, attended educational sessions, and networked with inspiring women from Junior Leagues across the world.

Experiences like these are just one example of how the Junior League equips women with the tools, confidence, and opportunities to lead both within the organization and throughout the community.

As we prepare to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Junior League of Columbus, we are challenging our members to help us build a strong future while honoring our powerful legacy of service.

Our goal for the 2026-2027 League year is to reach 90 Active Members in honor of our 90 years of impact in the Columbus community! ❤️🖤💛

Here’s how YOU can help:
📣 Recruit future leaders, changemakers, and community advocates to join our League.
⭐ Members will receive one point for every successful recruit accepted into the 2026-2027 provisional class.
🎉 This special provisional group will proudly be known as the League 90 Class!

As part of this milestone year, the JLC will also be returning to one provisional class per League year, so make sure your recruits submit their applications as soon as possible. August is right around the corner! ⏰

Now is the time to share your League story, invite others to experience the mission of the JLC, and help us continue building a legacy that will last for generations to come.
