Ohio Funeral Directors Association

Ohio Funeral Directors Association Over 140 Years of Professional Support for the Funeral Service Profession in Ohio.

For more than one hundred years, funeral directors throughout Ohio have counted on the Ohio Funeral Directors Association as they've reached out to families in grief. Today marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11—a powerful moment to pause, reflect, and honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage of first responders.

We stand in deep appreciation of our own members who deployed as part of the Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT) at Ground Zero. In the difficult weeks that followed, DMORT members carried out the vital work of recovery and identification with profound dignity, helping bring closure to grieving families.

As an industry dedicated to service, care, and solemn remembrance, we stand together in honoring their memory and enduring legacy. Never forget.
