FHS Momentum: We’re proud to share this recent WOSU All Sides conversation about Franklinton High School and the work happening every day inside our building.

FHS continues to grow - in enrollment, in academic performance, in graduation outcomes, and in the opportunities we’re able to create for young people. Most importantly, we’re doing it while holding onto what makes this place special: strong relationships, a real sense of belonging, and a school community that knows and believes in its students.

We’re grateful for everyone who has helped us get to this point - and we have a feeling the next chapter of the FHS story may be our biggest one yet.

FHS students attended the 's “Building the Workforce Behind the American Dream” luncheon, where they had the opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with education and community leaders from across Columbus.

Beyond hearing the conversation about education, workforce development, and preparing young people for the future, our students put their own networking skills into practice and made valuable connections with professionals in our community.

The pantry offers free food items and community resources, with no appointment needed. Upcoming pantry dates are September 19, October 24, November 21, and December 12.

Ohio is taking a new approach this school year to crack down on chronic absenteeism, with the state set to post attendance data for schools in real time.

"All three students said their paths changed after enrolling at Franklinton High School. McNeal said she plans to graduate and become a mechanic. Ross said he wants to go into the medical field or federal law enforcement. Maree wants to attend college and become a nursing assistant."
