OIU agents recently worked a violent crime reduction detail with theFranklin County Sheriff's Office to address high crime areas during the OSU vs. Illinois football game. Additionally, OIU conducted enforcement at Columbus liquor permit premises.

Agents made eight felony arrests and seized seven fi****ms illegally possessed by the offenders.

Among those arrested was an armed offender who had felony warrants for Aggravated Murder, Murder x2, Discharging Weapon On/Near Prohibited Premises, and Aggravated Burglary, who was also in possession of illegal drugs. Deputies transported the fugitive to the Franklin County Jail on the warrants and will be charged with additional felony offenses.

OIU agents recently worked a violent crime reduction detail with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office during the OSU vs. Kent State football game.

Agents made seven felony arrests and seized seven fi****ms illegally possessed by the offenders.

Among those arrested was an individual who brandished a fi***rm at another person before agents quickly intervened and apprehended the suspect.

Additionally, agents apprehended two fugitives with felony and misdemeanor warrants, including an armed juvenile. The juvenile was found to have a violent felony warrant and was wanted by the Columbus Division of Police for a prior felonious assault shooting.
