Lakewood at its best is a place that welcomes and connects new and old residents, alike, to something bigger. As a council member I work to ensure that Lakewood promotes a diverse economy, and maintains a diverse housing stock with places for all age groups and income levels. I champion our community spaces and parks, as chair of the Public Works and Sustainability Committee. I defend equitable ac

cess to first-rate public services and good local jobs. I have managed successful startups, and provided community outreach for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and many volunteer organizations. I have organized diverse communities, as a local field director for Senator Bernie Sanders, and as co-founder of the Cuyahoga County Progressive Caucus here in Lakewood. I currently help people bring home the benefits of clean, renewable solar energy for their own homes. On council and off, I work for and with the people to make communities better. Together we can bring out the best in Lakewood: a welcoming, safe city of shared opportunity.
