Traffic is backed up on SR46 W from Old Nashville Road to Belmont Drive
I-65 SB from SR 11 to Henryville

11:50 am - Traffic is steady on all roads.

Today is the day!!! We hope everyone has a great place picked out to view the eclipse! We recommend you check out the great events going on here in Bartholomew County!

🌟PARKING MAP🌟
We have plenty of FREE parking spaces for all in attendance! We also have created an exit plan for each parking area to help alleviate traffic jams after the event. We recommend aiming for a parking space in a zone with an exit toward your following destination as barricades will be in place.

Dial 9-1-1 only for an emergency.
An emergency is any serious medical problem (chest pain, seizure, bleeding), any type of fire (business, residence, vehicle), or any life-threatening situations (fights, persons with weapons, etc). You can also use 9-1-1 to report crimes in progress, whether or not a life is threatened.

Do not dial 9-1-1 for a non-emergency.
Instead, dial our non-emergency number (812) 379-1689. A non-emergency incident is a property damage accident without injury or an “old" break-in to a vehicle, theft of property or vandalism if not in progress. You should also use the non-emergency telephone number for intoxicated persons who are not disorderly or cars blocking the street or driveways.

Do not call 9-1-1 if your utilities such as power, gas, water, sewer or cable go out.
You will need to contact the correct utility directly; calling 9-1-1 needlessly burdens the dispatchers and system with non-emergency calls.

Do not dial 9-1-1 for eclipse related questions.

As you make your way to viewing , remember don’t stop on the side of the roadway or on exit ramps. Do not try to view the eclipse while driving.
