For those of you wondering what the Student Veteran Community Advocates do:

We are student veterans assigned to about 20 various departments and offices throughout Ohio State. We help connect you, our fellow veterans, to resources and experiences. We are veterans helping veterans; students helping students. Your Student Veteran Community Advocates role is two-fold. First, we help our department

or office understand the challenges veteran students face and how to best meet those needs. We also develop programs that serve as outreach to our fellow veteran students, the campus population at large, and often surrounding community. ABOUT THIS PAGE:
This page aims to help OSU Student Veterans stay connected to each other and events happening throughout the campuses and around the area. Though this page isn't technically an official university or departmental page, the events, activities and information posted by our page admins are your Ohio State Student Veteran Community Advocates who work with 18 different university departments around Ohio State, and other events and information come straight from the Office of Veterans and Military Services.

Today is the deadline for Veterans transitioning to civilian life to turn their passion into policy through the Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Leadership for Veterans program at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. This 12 one-day class program helps veterans learn from each other, build lasting relationships, and demonstrate the value of military experience and leadership to civilian employers. It is 100-percent online with face-to-face instruction. The deadline to enroll for the next class is TODAY November 12, 2021 with a January 2022 start date. Hello Buckeyes! Just letting ya'll know we will be having tailgates this year including the upcoming Oregon game. Sorry we haven't been keeping you guys posted these last couple weeks, there has been some changes to management. We will be following Ohio State Universities covid guidelines for all games so be sure to read those over before coming. For the Oregon game we will NOT have a TV. However we will have plenty beer, white castle, pizza, and possibly some subs. If you know some new vets who haven't experienced the tailgate please reach out to them and let them know to stop by. We are looking forward to seeing your charming faces Saturday and as always GO BUCKS!

Forgot to add the location. We will be on the north side of the stadium in front of lot B.
