Join us June 20 for an America 250 Basket Class! In this all-day workshop, you’ll be creating a patriotic themed basket to celebrate our Nation’s 250th Birthday! Woven with lots of Red, White, and Blue, the basket will be decorated with a wooden tie-on of the Liberty Bell. You’ll learn how to weave your basket from the base to the finished rim. You will be learning how to weave a closed base, how to weave and shape the sides, ri***ng tips, and helpful weaving techniques. The class is open to adults of all weaving levels. There is a limit of 10 students for the class, so sign up soon!

Yesterday marked a major investment in our community!

With support from READI funding, Visit Columbus, Indiana, city leadership, and our Parks staff, Lincoln Park now features six turf-converted diamonds ready for athletes and families.

This $1.5 million project strengthens local sports, boosts tourism, and expands opportunities for play.

Babysitting season is here! Is your 6th-8th grader looking to start babysitting for siblings, friends, or other families? The Safe Sitter Babysitter Safety Training class explores characteristics of a good babysitter and covers caring for infants and toddlers, basic first aid and CPR, what to do in an emergency, and more! Class will be led by a certified Safe Sitter instructor from the Council for Youth Development.

Hope you're in the mood for some movies, cause we have back to back Movies in the Park coming up. This Saturday, June 6, we will be showing Wicked For Good and the following Saturday, June 13, Zootopia 2 will be showing. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs, we'll bring the free popcorn! Miss Rachel's Neat Treats will be there for all your ice cream needs! Movies start at 8:30pm

We have had a difficult time rescheduling movies and we apologize for the confusion, but we are so excited to kick off our Movies in the Park series with back to back weekends! Thanks for your patience and see you this Saturday!

Registration is open for our Jr. Lifeguard Class! From June 29 - July 9, kids ages 11-14 will learn what it takes to be a lifeguard and get an inside track on a job. Each camper receives a f***y pack, visor, and whistle. Class will meet even if the pool is closed due to weather.

The Commons will be open from 10 am - 6 pm. Offices will be closed.

Par 3 and Greenbelt golf courses will be open.
