MOAA Central Ohio Chapter

MOAA Central Ohio Chapter Open to ACT, NG, RET, RES or FMR commissioned & warrant officers of A, N, MC, AF, CG, PH, NOAA & spouses of any dec. ind, who if living, would be eligible. b. c.

The purpose of this chapter shall be:

a. To bring together Chapter Members from: Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, Former Commissioned and Warrant Officers, and officers in training (ROTC) from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration, Public Health Service, Widows and widowers of any deceased individuals who would be, if living,

eligible for membership (Auxiliary Members), Spouses of Chapter Members (Supporting Members). To promote the aims of MOAA as stated in the preamble to the by-laws of that Association. To further the legislative and other objectives of the MOAA. d. To support central Ohio troops through activities that enhance their welfare and encourage their support by State, County, and City Legislative actions. e. To encourage and facilitate camaraderie and good fellow-

ship of the members identified in Section 1 a. of this Article. f. To provide useful services for, and to protect the interests of, members and their dependents and survivors. g. To provide recognition to certain ROTC cadets and Midshipman for other similar purposes.National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and spouses of any deceased individuals who, if living, would be eligible for membership.

Lt Colonel Donald E Kershner, 98, of Columbus Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Violet Springs Health Campus in Pickerington, Ohio. Don was born on August 11, 1926, to Clark L. Kershner Sr and Myrtle (Gore) Kershner in Hutchinson Kansas.
