We’re excited to announce the launch of the Construction Inspection Training Program (CITP) — a brand-new eLearning series developed in partnership with ODOT’s Division of Construction!

🖥️ What’s it all about?
CITP includes five self-paced modules designed to help Local Public Agency staff — and anyone interested in construction inspection — build their knowledge and skills.

📚 The modules cover:

- Becoming a Transportation Construction Inspector
- Inspecting Flexible Pavement
- Inspecting Advanced Structures
- Inspecting Earthwork / Soil Compaction

It's a milestone of a day here at the Ohio LTAP Center. Today is our longtime Safety Circuit Rider and Program Manager's final day of classroom instruction. Raymond Brushart, pictured here instructing the Traffic Signs & Pavement Markings training course at ODOT's District 2 Office, is wrapping up his 36 years of public service (between ODOT and the City of Columbus). Here’s an opportunity to learn about funding for safer systems that promote active transportation options and protect mode users of all types and make communities more vibrant.

The webinar will feature presentations from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Local Technical Assistance Program Manager and Active Transportation Manager. They will discuss ODOT programs focused on local technical assistance and funding opportunities for active transportation and safe routes to schools.
