The Southside Community Ministries (SSCM) Food Pantry is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) organization providing emergency food for Columbus Southside children, families and seniors in need for over 30 years. SSCM Food Pantry-Breaking down hunger in Columbus’ Southside

• 1 in 6 children go to bed without sufficient, nourishing food
• Columbus’ Southside is one of the areas in Franklin County hardest

hit by
the recession
• Over 1,000 family members now being served each month
• 37% increase over the comparable 12 month period the year before
• Stretch your dollar: A $1 donation to SSCM Food Pantry = $8 worth of
groceries from Mid-Ohio Food Bank, the major supplier of our food.
• All donations are tax-deductible
• This is an all-volunteer operation – no one is paid

It's March, and we can see warmer days in our future! 🌼 💐
Our hours this month are Monday 3/23, Wednesday 3/25, and Friday 3/27.
We are open noon-2:30pm. Clients must arrive by 2:15 to be served.

Thanks to our Wednesday and Friday teams for serving our clients in the frigid weather. Another shout out to our neighbor and friends for helping to clear the paths and shovel the parking spots! This made it possible to serve 103 families! 🥶🙂
