We are honored to be able to serve our veterans and their families in this way.

Had a great and informative evening attending the District Advisory Council of the Knox County Board of Health meeting and the Knox County Township Association. We heard from Health Commissioner Zach Green and Nate Overholt, Sheriff David Shaffer and Lt. William Shaffer (no relation!), Diana Wetzel with Knox Starting Point and Kandee Popham with Place 4 Grace, and finally a legislative update from State Rep. Beth Lear!
And a great meal provided by the folks at Advantage Ag & Equipment and served by the Wayne Grange!
Looking forward to the next one!

Bittersweet day in Knox County as our County Auditor, Jonette Curry, retires after 38 years in service to the county, 14 years as Auditor.
Jonette has made learning the budgetary ropes far more manageable for me as I assumed the role of Recorder and I will miss my friend. But I am glad she gets to enjoy some well deserved time with family and likely on a beach somewhere!
Have fun Jonette!
Thanks for everything!

Fun day at the Knox County Sheep Association’s annual Lamb Banquet! A delicious meal, great fellowship, an informative presentation by Dr. Henry Zerby, and the opportunity to support local scholarships!
Thanks to former Knox County Auditor, Bill Moody, for the invite! I’ll see y’all next year!

MOUNT VERNON — A new twist for selling real estate is legal, but as with any contract, homeowners need to be aware of what they are signing.

The Fed's attempt to curb inflation has made an impact locally as our filings have fallen from a usual 900-1000 per month, to high 700s.
The real estate market locally remains strong but purchases have slowed. Prices are still high but they are stabilizing. We continue to report high mortgage totals even with falling monthly filings.

September's numbers are in!
The real estate market remains strong locally, however with the Federal Reserve raising interest rates, we are seeing filings slow down.
Take a look!
