Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM at The Funky Turtle in Toledo as our Ohio delegates return from the Libertarian National Convention to share their experiences, key takeaways, and what’s next for the liberty movement here in Ohio and across the country.

This meeting will also serve as a special welcome event for newly registered Libertarians, supporters, and anyone curious about the movement. It’s a great opportunity to meet local candidates, party leadership, and fellow liberty-minded individuals in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you’re brand new to the Libertarian Party or have been involved for years, we invite you to come out, ask questions, share ideas, and help us continue building a stronger grassroots movement in Lucas County.

The November 3 Midterm Election might still be ways off but deadlines sneak up on us all! Bookmark this post so none of these important dates pass you by.

💫 Now: Request your absentee ballot- No need to wait!
📋 October 5: Last day to register to vote or change your registration- by 9pm
🗳 October 6: Early voting starts
📬 October 6: Absentee ballots start being mailed out to those who requested them
⏳October 27: Last day to request an absentee ballot- applications must be received by your county Board of Elections by 8:30pm
🗳November 3: Election Day- Polls are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Absentee ballots must be received by your county Board of Elections by 7:30pm on Election Day.
🔍November 7: Last day to cure provisional ballots- voters who voted on a provisional ballot should follow instructions from their poll worker.

We encourage first-timers to run for local offices in odd-numbered years. You must file a declaration of candidacy with your County Board of Elections, with completed petitions containing the number of signatures required for the office you are seeking.
