FREEDOM THROUGH OUR WORDS: HISTORICALLY BLACK PHRASES TRIVIA
Celebrate Juneteenth through language, history, and community at this engaging trivia event inspired by Historically Black Phrases by jarrett hill and Tre’vell Anderson. Participants will explore the origins, meanings, and cultural impact of words and expressions rooted in African American culture. This interactive program invites attendees to test their knowledge, learn something new, and spark meaningful conversation about how language preserves history and shapes freedom. Light refreshments will be provided.
