Another fantastic Step Up for the books! Excellent work by all the teams, and congratulations to Mansfield Correctional Institution for winning this year. We'd also like to recognize the dozens of DRC staff members working behind the scenes to make this event possible year after year.

Together with our law enforcement partners, we’re working hard to help keep our communities safe. Thanks to the efforts of our teams and community members, another violator is now off the streets.

It's Wednesday, so you know what that means. If you have information about any violators at large, email [email protected].

If you want to be a part of our team, we'd love to see you in our next employee orientation. Apply today at drc.ohio.gov/work-with-us

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Light Ohio Blue for inviting us to participate in this year’s photo challenge. It was a honor to have our photo alongside so many incredible public safety agencies!

Thanks to all who voted for us, we were able to take home first place in our category! We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to next year’s challenge.

Using a scrunchie to try and smuggle drugs is a bold strategy, but we don't give passes for creativity. Don't entrust your future to a hair tie.

This is a reminder that if you attempt to introduce prohibited substances into our facilities, you will be caught and held accountable.

A recent Ross County Grand Jury heard cases involving kidnapping, abduction and the conveyance of drugs.

Here are a few pups from Humane Society of Madison County who have recently been adopted after going through training at Madison Correctional Institution.

UPDATE: These puppies have found their forever homes!

Last week, Adult Parole Authority staff attended the U.S. Marshal's Service Awards Ceremony. Huge congratulations to our officers for their outstanding achievements: the NOVFTF Cleveland Division won Team of the Year with PO Aaron Wery, PO Nicole Mitchell, and PO Brandon Holmes. Brendon Centeno earned an honorable mention for the Wayne Leon Task Force Officer of the Year Award, while Kaitlynn Risner and David Pavkovich received honorable mentions for the Susan Graves Part-Time Task Force Officer of the Year Award. Our staff contributes to a safer Ohio, and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work!
