🎶 The 40th Annual Our Hospice Concert raised more than $110,000 to support our patients and their loved ones! 🎶

We are incredibly grateful to Title Sponsor Dunlap General & Mechanical Contractors, Rock Star Sponsors Columbus Regional Health and Johnson-Witkemper Insurance, all of our sponsors, benefactors and volunteers, and the Bartholomew County Public Library for welcoming the concert back to the library steps. Looking for something fun to do over the long weekend? Visit the Blackwell Park Storywalk for a brand new story, Fix-it Familia by Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band! This bilingual book, featuring beautiful illustrations from Micah Player, focuses on themes of community & imagination, and is a great pick for Hispanic Heritage Month.

Due to a mandatory system upgrade, we will not be able to check in or out any items on Monday, September 14. Online resources that require your library card to sign in (such as Libby, Hoopla, etc.) will also be temporarily unavailable. All locations will still be open for programming and other services. We will post an update on our social media pages when the upgrade is complete!

If you have an item due on September 14, feel free to return before or after that date. As always, we do not charge late fees.

September is National Yoga Month! Did you know BCPL has weekly yoga sessions at the Downtown Columbus branch led by a local instructor?

🧘‍♀️ Flow Yoga is held on Mondays at 12:00 pm. There will be no Flow Yoga on Labor Day. This class will focus on a smooth, continuous flow of movements linked to the breath to help achieve a mind/body balance.

🙆‍♂ Chair Yoga is held on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. These sessions are great for beginners and those who want to focus on gentle practice.
