Hey Ohio -- Please read and help protect our most vulnerable during this air quality issue.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, from 7 AM Thursday to midnight EDT Thursday night.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The
Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the `unhealthy for
sensitive groups` range.

Crimes against seniors has become daily news around the state. The number of scams targeting our senior population has increased. We will do our part to inform our members of new scams as they are identified. Please continue educating your followers on how to protect themselves from these crimes. Congratulations to our friends at Gallia County Council on Aging for receiving a national grant for expansion of respite care!! Thank you for serving the seniors in your area!!

The Gallia County Council on Aging has been awarded a $125,000 national grant to expand essential, therapeutic dementia respite care for local seniors and their caregivers.

Chair Volleyball is an activity loved by many seniors at different senior centers. Looks like Muskingum County Center for Seniors had a great day playing!!!
