Did you know rehab facilities are able to bill Medicaid for activities like co****le, aromatherapy, and even “nap time”?

We must develop real standards and curriculum requirements for recovery class billing. We would never hand a school millions in taxpayer funding with no curriculum, accountability, or educational standards, so why should rehab facilities be allowed to bill classroom hours without clear guidelines for what is actually being taught?

Thank you Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber for helping us expose waste, fraud, and abuse in Southern Ohio and across our state. Recovery matters, accountability matters, and taxpayers deserve both!

I had the pleasure of welcoming the wonderful Maddox family from Adams County to my office, 7 children strong!

They came to the State House to advocate for adoption and share the importance of giving every child the opportunity for a loving home and bright future. Thank you to the Maddox family for your heart, your advocacy, and the example you set for others.

Like the movie Field of Dreams, build it and they will come!

For too long, rural Ohio has been treated like the end of the road instead of the crossroads of opportunity. Completing the I-73 corridor would connect our communities to national commerce, attract investment, create jobs, strengthen tourism, and open the door to prosperity for generations to come.

That’s why I fought to include language in the state budget directing an I-73 Interstate Coordinator Study to be completed by the end of 2026.

Ohio is the missing link. Let’s connect Ohio and strengthen America!

Tell the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), don’t let Ohio become where interstates come to die.

Great evening in Columbus supporting Shawnee State University at the “Meet the Coach” reception with new football coach Mark Snyder and President Eric Braun.

Shawnee State continues building momentum, and it was great seeing so many people excited about the future of SSU athletics and Southern Ohio.

Also made sure Speaker Huffman left town with a Shawnee State hat.

Working families and rural homeowners are tired of being hit with unnecessary rules and massive costs. We can protect public health without forcing people to go broke over outdated regulations.
