Alicia is an independent scholar of pre-Roman Celtic spirituality, with a special focus on myths, rituals, beliefs and practices. Sheโs led dozens of women on sacred and educational journeys as an experienced guide through southwest England and northwest Wales. Growing up, she had the unique experience of living on Makah Native American lands and studying the artifacts from the Ozette archaeological project, where her father served as expedition conservator.
Alicia has 29 yearsโ experience as an artist and teacher at university and high school levels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Washington and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing from the University of Southern California. Her career highlights include many directing, lighting design and stage management credits in Los Angeles and elsewhere for professional, community and school productions. After 21 years in California and 15 years teaching at the University of California, Alicia returned to her home in the Pacific Northwest. She now teaches high school, is production manager for the performing arts center and makes uniquely luscious soaps and jewelry in her repurposed basement workshop.
