October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This month, we remember the lives we've lost to DV and recognize the survivors who fight every day to live the lives they deserve free from abuse. All year long, the DV 101 campaign led by the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, the Columbus City Attorney's Office, and the Columbus Office of Violence Prevention has focused on spreading awareness of DV in our community and connecting people with the resources they need to find safety and support.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, there is help! You can call the Franklin County Domestic Violence Hotline 24/7 at 614-224-4663. ๐Ÿ’œ

The Victim Witness Advocates in both the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office and the Columbus City Attorney's Office are also available as a resource for questions about safety planning and the court process.

๐Ÿฉต Franklin County Prosecutor's Office Victim Witness Unit: 614-525-3555 (8 am - 5 pm; ask to speak with a victim witness advocate)

๐Ÿฉต Columbus City Attorney's Office Domestic Violence Unit: 614-645-6232 (8 am - 4:30 pm)
