Our shelves are moving fast this summer.

As more neighbors turn to the Pantry for help with groceries and essentials, these are the items we need most right now:

Peanut Butter
🥣 Cereal
🐟 Tuna
🧴 Shampoo
✨ Deodorant
🍼 Diapers (Size 4 and up)
❤️ Pads

Personal care items and diapers cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits, which means many families are already making impossible choices between food and everyday essentials.

Last weekend, our Pantry was full of young people learning what it means to care for their community in a real and hands on way. 💚

Thanks to an incredible partnership with Seeds of Caring Columbus , 37 volunteers, spent their afternoon assembling Keep Cool Kits for neighbors and helping wrap diapers for families visiting the Pantry.

These kind kids were also able to help us package our diaper donations so we would be ready to serve neighbors this week.

We are so grateful to Seeds of Caring, the families who joined in, and every young person who spent part of their weekend helping neighbors they may never meet.

We’re honored to be selected as a beneficiary of the Kroger Columbus Fight Hunger Bag Program for June and July 2026.

Every $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger bag purchased at the locations below will provide $1 directly to Worthington Resource Pantry to help support neighbors facing food insecurity across our community.

Last week during a staff meeting, we got some tough news: our diaper delivery would be delayed by more than a week, and our shelves were nearly empty.

So we did what we always do. We told the truth and asked our community for help.

By Thursday afternoon, donations were already pouring in. On Friday, an Amazon delivery driver called ahead to warn us he had an entire truckload of diapers to unload. Deliveries kept coming all weekend and throughout this week.

It has been overwhelming in the best possible way.

We are so grateful for every single package, donation, share, and kind message. You helped make sure families could continue getting the diapers they needed without interruption.

At the same time, we want to be honest about what we are seeing right now. We are continuing to serve record numbers of neighbors, and these donations will move almost as quickly as they arrived.

Rising gas prices, food costs, and utility bills are stretching already tight budgets even further. More families are finding themselves needing help for the first time, while many longtime neighbors are needing support more often.

Your support is keeping this community going right now. From the BOTTOM of our hearts, thank you for showing up the way you always do. ❤️

Meet, Frank!

For three years, Frank Oddi has been a familiar face at the Worthington Resource Pantry. As a dedicated Shop Assistant, Frank is a staple of our open pantry hours, helping to ensure our operations run smoothly for everyone who walks through the doors.

Frank is best known for the warmth he brings to the Pantry, creating a welcoming and friendly environment for neighbors and fellow volunteers alike. For Frank, the best part of volunteering is the people he gets to interact with every day. We are so grateful for his positive energy and continued dedication to our community.

Thank you Ellis!

One of our youngest members, Ellis Cierpial (4), demonstrated love for his neighbors by holding an art sale and sharing the proceeds with the Worthington Resource Pantry! Ellis spent time making a variety of art pieces and held the sale during the Worthington Memorial Day Parade. While planning for the sale, he wanted to be sure that money he raised would go to his neighbors in need and opted to donate half of his earnings. After a very successful sale, Ellis decided to save less for himself and donated 75% of the money he raised to the Worthington Resource Pantry. Thank you, Ellis, for showing God's love to our community!

We shared that we would be without diapers on Wednesday and our community starting showing up the next morning with boxes and boxes. Thank you!!!

Quick help needed. Our diaper order has been delayed by a week and our very high numbers over the past month have depleted our supply. We expect to serve around 400 families with small children in the coming week and will not have diapers to offer. Without diapers, parents cannot use daycare services and continue to work. This often means falling even further behind.

Can you help us bridge the gap? Bring a pack or two to the Pantry, order some from our Amazon list (link below and in our bio), or make a financial donation.

We ❤️ our Library!

Most Monday mornings, you can find our Pop-Up Library at Worthington Resource Pantry. 😊

Having an outreach vehicle has helped us meet the community where they're at! When waiting in line or after stocking up on weekly goods, kids and adults can easily check out books and learn about upcoming library programs.
