Our 5th, 6th and 7th graders will perform at 5pm with our high school concert beginning at 7pm.

For the first time in 30+ years, the Columbiana Clipper Band advances to the State Large Group Adjudicated Event!

They performed at the OMEA Large Group Event in District 5, Class C, on March 14:

• First We Dream, Erik Morales
• Sparks, Brian Balmages
• The Great Rubber Chicken Galop, Randall Standridge

The ensemble received scores of:

• Judge One: Rating ll, Excellent
• Judge Two: Rating ll, Excellent
• Judge Three: Rating l, Superior
• Sight-Reading Judge: Rating l, Superior

We are extremely proud of our students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to what they do inside the classroom. They show everyday.

The ensemble would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mr.Miller for pushing them to .

The OMEA State Event is scheduled for the first weekend in May. Stay tuned Clipper Band and Fam, you won’t want to miss this! ✈️🎶

This past weekend we had four of our band members represent Columbiana at the 16th annual Columbiana County Honor Band consisting of 12 schools! 🎶

Congratulations to our students Layla Russell, Lucas Buchheit, Koe Wolsonovich, and Allyson Humberson on a spectacular performance.

Also a huge shoutout to five of our choir students for performing at the Columbiana County Honor Choir consisting of Maiya Waller, Reagan Boley, Jocelyn Aikens, Renee Call, and Charlee DeVan.

Our band and choir students spent a day and a half piecing together an arrangement of wonderful music.

We would like to thank our band and choir conductors for this year’s event: Dr. John Veneskey (band) and Beth Polen (choir). The outcome of today performances would not have been possible without their knowledge and focus. Thank you for pushing our students to ! ✈️
