CES 4th grade students worked on a project this year. Called "From fossils to factories" through a grant won by Mrs. Sell! Students had the opportunity to engage with a dental hygienist to learn about impressions, make candles, visit the YSU Mineral museum and travel to Humtown Products to see how factories implement the same type of process that is used in fossils!

In coordination with Buckeye State Credit Union, 1st graders got to shop at the Crestview Budget Barn last week! Students earned money through positive behavior in the classroom, then had the opportunity to go shopping for various items and practice their counting money skills, along with soft skills of interacting for purchases.

A huge shout out to Bubble Tech USA for coming in to teach our 3rd graders about beverage systems, such as those found at Sheetz, and careers within the industry. They also provided students with shirts and lemonade floats!

Students are designing lemonade stands in their classes and will host district staff this week for a taste test! 🍋

Seniors had a wonderful last week as Crestview students. On Saturday, juniors and seniors participated in the 2nd Annual Powder Puff Flag Football Game, organized by Mrs. Burnell and the Home EC and Spirit Clubs. The Seniors were victorious with a controversial last-minute score, marking the second year that the Seniors were victorious!

On Sunday, Seniors participated in another new tradition, Senior Sunset at Rebel Stadium. Seniors played tailgate games, had pizza, made a candy salad, and watched High School Musical 3 on the scoreboard. Seniors attended a pancake breakfast in the morning, courtesy of Mrs. Burnell and Mrs. Finch. Thanks to Senior Class Members Blasey Biser, Ava Bucey, Addison Rhodes, Grace Weaver and Bridget Borchardt, staff members Mrs. Burnell, Mrs. Finch, Mr. Crowl, Mr. Daryl Miller, and Mr. Caryle Buck for making Senior Sunset possible.

Prior to graduation practice last week, they also had their annual Senior picnic.

The Seniors had such a profound influence on Crestview, we were happy to celebrate them! The Class of 2026 will truly be missed but we look forward to the amazing things in their future! Thank you Seniors!
