Columbiana Beautification Board The Beautification Board is a volunteer board made up of 9 members. Our largest yearly event is the Christmas Tour of homes.

The Board plants and takes care of the flower beds and planters on Main Street and decorates for holidays and City events. Board meetings are the 1st Monday of the Month at 6:00pm City Hall

We have a little secret. Not everything the Beautification Board does involves flowers and our main goal is to help make our small town beautiful. Today our new fall banners are welcoming everyone to Main Street and if you head over to the pickleball court you’ll find a new pavilion structure to help keep those players cool. We love to see our projects come to fruition and hope you do, too. Big shoutout to the City guys for all their hard work!

We are so excited to have a new, electric watering cart to help with watering our planters and beds and for carrying plants. Thank you to our Board Member Emily for trying out the cart tonight and I’m so happy it was easier to use than expected. New signage to come.

It is very disheartening to find that the flowerbeds that we work so hard on have had some limelight hydrangeas cut and stolen from our beds. These flowers are not for picking. These beds are paid for and maintained by the Columbiana Beautification Board and you should be ashamed.

I know our board members and volunteers are exhausted today but I want to give them all a BIG shoutout for the AMAZING job they have done to prepare for Liberty Day. Our members don’t plan, plant, water and decorate for accolades but I want each of you to know that your hard work is truly appreciated and you make a difference.

It was a wonderful event and the City did a fantastic job. We heard so many heartfelt comments from citizens and visitors who love Columbiana. Thank you to all of you for everything! Now, let’s work on fall and Christmas. 🙂
