I have people asking me questions that I would like to answer. I am running for Sheriff because I believe Columbia deserves a law enforcement leader who understands responsibility, discipline, and the importance of protecting the people who call this place home. Serving in the Army National Guard, I learned the value of leadership, teamwork, and accountability. That experience taught me firsthand what it means to work under pressure, make critical decisions, and protect lives in difficult and unpredictable situations. Those lessons have stayed with me every since. If elected Sheriff, my focus will be simple: protect the citizens, support our deputies, and build trust between all law enforcement and the community we serve. I believe in being visible, being accountable, and being approachable. The Sheriff's office should not only be a symbol of law and order, but also a source of safety and respect for every citizen-no matter who they are or where they come from. I also believe in supporting our deputies with the training, resources, and leadership they need to do their jobs effectively and safely. A strong Sheriff's Office starts from within, with strong leadership and their clear direction. Most importantly, I believe in service above self. That is what guided me in the military, and it is what will guide me as your Sheriff. I am asking for your support, your trust, and your vote.
