Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, Capital Paving, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will perform pavement maintenance at the following locations:
โข The North Garth Avenue and Blue Ridge Road roundabout
โข Fox Trot Drive from Sea Eagle Drive to Alligator Lane
โข Medavista Drive from West Rollins Road to Ridge Road
โข Ridge Road from West Boulevard to Medavista Drive
โข Marion Drive from West Rollins Road to Ridge Road
โข Bittersweet Court from Tracy Drive to the end of the street
โข Tracy Drive from Sunset Lane to West Stewart Road
โข Hillside Drive from West Broadway to Sunset Lane
โข Pershing Road from West Broadway to Worley Street
โข Pinewood Drive from Gary Street to the north end
โข Gary Street from Clinkscales Road to Pershing Road
โข London Drive from West Boulevard to Rowe Lane
โข London Drive from Rowe Lane west to the concrete
โข Mikel Street from West Boulevard to Clayton Street
โข Mikel Street from Clayton Street to West Sexton Road
โข Jewell Avenue from Business Loop 70 to West Forest Avenue
โข Jewell Avenue from West Forest Avenue to West Sexton Road
Crews will mill away the worn top layer of asphalt and pave a new asphalt surface to improve the condition of the roadway. Crews plan to start on the south end of Columbia and move north.
Work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, weather permitting.
Temporary lane closures will be necessary while crews are working. Traffic control signs and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zones as needed. Drivers should use caution and consider alternate routes when possible.

ฟ๏ธ On streets where parking is permitted, temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance. Please observe the dates and times listed on the signs so crews can complete the work as efficiently as possible.
