Way to go Will!

You can stop sending us money.

That’s not a sentence you get from a campaign very often, and I’ve been looking forward to writing it.

We hit our number. All of it in small amounts, all of it from people who live here. Some of you gave when we were a long shot with a clipboard. I haven’t forgotten which of you that was. The paperwork is filed with the State Elections Enforcement Commission and we’re waiting on the state.

So we’re done asking you for money. You did that part, and you did it faster than anyone expected. Thank you.

Here’s the part that isn’t done. Tim Ackert held this seat for sixteen years and did the work. It’s open now, and open seats don’t hold themselves. November comes down to doors, signs, and neighbors talking to neighbors - the one thing a campaign can’t buy, and the one thing this district has never been short on.

If you’ve got a Saturday morning, I’d be grateful for it.

This victory belongs to all of us.

I’m honored to have won the Republican Primary and grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me.

Now, we come together and turn our focus to November.
