2nd Brigade, 87th Training Division, and 1st Mission Command Training Detachment (1 MCTD) remind Soldiers and Families that a strong support network is always available. Programs such as Army Reserve Family Programs (ARFP), Army Community Service (ACS), and Military OneSource provide assistance with finances, relocation, childcare, education, employment, deployment, and family advocacy.

By connecting Soldiers and their loved ones to both local and online resources, these programs help ensure Army Families remain strong, resilient, and ready.

The Army Functional Test (AFT) is officially replacing the ACFT as the new standard of fitness. Designed to better assess combat readiness and functional performance, the AFT reflects a more focused, mission-aligned approach to measuring Soldier fitness.

Check out the post below for what’s changing and how it impacts your training and testing! 🏋️‍♂️

Heads up, the AFT is on the way. 🏋🏾‍♂️

As of June 1, 2025, the AFT (Army Fitness Test) officially replaced the Army Combat Fitness Test. Here’s what you need to know:

🟡 Combat specialties: One sex-neutral, age-normed standard — score of 350 (60 min per event).
🟡 Combat enabling specialties: S*x- and age-normed scoring — score of 300.
⚠️ No admin action tied to AFT until Jan 1, 2026.
