rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

⚠️ Traffic Alert ⚠️

Roadway is back open. Traffic is still a little congested. Use caution in the area.

Hwy 98 West and Hwy 35 South is currently shut down due to a traffic accident. Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route until further notice.

Please slow down and move over for emergency personnel working the scene.

Click It or Ticket It Campaign will be happening May 18th - May 31st, 2026. Our deputies will be out in full force leading up to and after Memorial Day to make sure that everyone remains as safe as possible. This campaign will be concentrating on seatbelt violations with enhanced enforcement for driving under the influence. Please do not let your good time be someone else's worst nightmare.
