November and December were spent in Africa with Ecumenical Convocations and University graduations in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Rwanda, DR Congo, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Cameroon. The Ecumenical University is experiencing explosive growth in East Africa, with over 600 graduates.
Our Ecumenical, CityLight, and Cross Style Development teams have set a goal of building 5,000 Churches, Schools, Health Centers, Ecumenical University campuses, and CityLight Catalyst Centers, of which 500 have been built.

Our teams have taken what we call a Glocal approach, Global in scope but with Local and indigenous leadership
The projects of 2023 have included HKM Ecumenical Bishop George Njorge of Nairobi (Pipeline), who has purchased the land to build their four-story Ecumenical church and community center.
Bishop Wycliff Ombecha, working with Pastor Johnstone Muka, has completed the construction of a temporary Ecumenical Church in Musanda, Western Kenya. Bishop Wycliffe is also adding solar power for lighting.
Bishop Edward Langat and Headmaster Victor Pongosi are leading the construction of two 10-classroom blocks and permanent pit latrines at CityLight Joy Academy in Cheptumbelio and Cheptentan, Kenya. An Ecumenical University multipurpose building was built in Eldoret Main Prison.
Two Cathedrals were built for worship: Redeemed Gospel Center with Bishop Morris Omondi and Ecumenical Prison Cathedral with Bishop Edward Langat.
Bishop David Eyoma led the Construction of a Multipurpose Hall for CityLight Christian School in Asuret, Soroti.
Bishop Emily Kadega has initiated the complete renovation of the Ecumenical University campus in Legega with the restoration of the CityLight Cross Style Center. Bishop Emily Kadega will begin renovating the CityLight Primary and Nursery school for classes this spring.
Bishop Donal James is adding a 3 classroom block to the campus of Mado Nursery and Primary School Nyabuliko with plans to open the health center and renovate the local Ecumenical church. Bishop James is also replacing the temporary structure of Bugando Ecumenical Church with a permanent multipurpose worship and community center.
Bishop Mwalimu Dieudonne Completed the construction of the front wall and the gate of Cross Style School.
Bishop Victor Asiimwe Evans has joined Pastor Innocent and started the foundation for the new Ecumenical church in Kibutamo, Sheema district.
Bishop Charles Mpagi and Pastor Abia have completed the CityLight Multipurpose Center for the primary school in Ryenjokic, Uganda.
Bishop Evans is also working with Naybale Moses to complete the dormitory construction at Arise and Prosper Primary School.
