The rental of the center is still available! Fees for the center are reasonable for family gatherings, reunions, church and community events. Our last day......

Once again, our hearts are broken. The passing of Mr. Eugene Stovall has left another empty space in our hearts. 😞. Mr. Gene was a precious man who loved God, his family and his community. Our center was made better by his presence. We love Miss Minnie and are praying for the Stovall family. Rest in God’s arms, Mr. Eugene. 😞❤️

We are heartbroken at the loss of one of our own, Mr. Charles Sanders. He loved this center so! His charm, his love, and his smile was infectous and he loved to talk about, well, everything! He was one of a kind and he was why the center was here.....to serve and be served. We send our love and symapthy to Elaine Teat (Donnie), Michelle Teat (Bobby), Beth Sanders, and to all the family. You are in our prayers and we love you all!

It with heavy heart that we announce the closing of the Haleburg Senior Center on November 21, 2018. This is a loss for the community and for those who have put their heart and soul into it. When I took this positionin 2016, I never thought it would do so much for me and to bring such wonderful people into my life. Through all the ups and downs, this has been a richly rewarding experience for me and I am forever grateful to have been the director of a great group! If you have any questions, please call me at 696-2248. I will be here through the end of the year accepting Pea River payments for December only, not for January. Again, thank you for everything and God Bless.

DID YOU KNOW? If you are a customer of Pea River in the Columbia area: for every Pea River light bill paid at the Haleburg Senior Center, the town receives $1.00 per bill?! Bills paid here are credited to your account the SAME DAY ! I assure you every bill is paid. Receipts are given and you can verify your account through Pea River. What a great way to help !

Jay Henry will be here at the center on Monday, October 29 speaking ; he will also be presenting information on the Yellow Dot program that provides first responders information on you in case of an accident or other medical emergency. We will start the program at 10:30, so please join us before hand for coffee and pastries.
