When you donate to us during , you'll provide necessary equipment for our education center so children like the Garcia’s can have a beautiful space to learn!

Last Christmas, sisters Maria (10) and Alexis (14) moved to Family Shelter with their mother, Mariana.* After one month in the Family Shelter program, while working full-time, Mariana and her daughters were able to move to St. Lawrence Place.

Maria and Alexis are both enrolled in our children's afterschool program. Both girls, who attend elementary and middle school in Richland One, received all A's last semester and the made honor roll! Alexis recently made her school's JV soccer team. Maria loves animals and says she'd like to become a vet when she grows up. We are proud of how hardworking the Garcia women are and we are honored to be part of their journey home!
