A huge shoutout to our outstanding speakers — Dr. Jaffe, Dr. Donovan, Dr. Hashimi, Trae Bane, and Brandon Gonzales — for delivering powerful presentations that beautifully combined real-world experience with strong supporting literature. 👏

Thank you to every single participant who made this day so special. We hope you learn something new and had as much fun as all of our crew at 4-2 did. If you missed this one, we’re already looking ahead to next year. We can’t wait to do it again!

🚁✨ 2026 is nearly halfway done — and what a ride it’s been!
We kicked things off strong: welcoming our new pilot and paramedic, hosting LZ trainings, and celebrating big when our beloved Outpost LZ returned to service. Even through the brutal winter fog, our team powered through and ran a ton of calls.
Looking ahead: our symposium is tomorrow with record-high sign-ups, our newest clinician is heading off to flight academy, and summer is hitting full swing!
Things are getting busy at 4-2… and we wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

🚁 Meet Brian Francis 🚁

Brian is excited to be joining the incredible team at PHI Med 4-2.

Brian and his wife, Chrissy, currently live on the Delta in Stockton, but he hopes to one day call the beautiful foothills home and become part of the amazing community we serve.

Brian recently retired from the California Army National Guard after serving as a CH-47 Chinook Instructor Pilot for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he flew throughout Northern California with CALSTAR and REACH, bringing a wealth of aviation and air medical experience to our team.

When he’s not flying, Brian enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and riding dirt bikes whenever he gets the chance.

Please join us in welcoming Brian to PHI Med 4-2! We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the experience, dedication, and enthusiasm he brings to our crew. He is quite funny too as you can tell 😊

When we reached out, they said “yes” at a moment’s notice and showed up ready to help. Their professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to teamwork made this training possible.

We are grateful for the strong partnership between Fire and EMS. We simply could not do this job without one another. Together, we train, respond, and serve our communities better.

On this Memorial Day, we remember the fallen soldiers who never came home, the families who carry their memory every single day, and the quiet heroes who gave us the chance to live in peace and liberty.
To our veterans, to those who served before joining the PHI family, and to every fallen hero: we thank you. We honor you. We are grateful.

Last, but certainly not least, you have the lady behind the social media. Meet Destiny, flight nurse extraordinaire and preceptor wise beyond her years, who moonlights as graphic designer, chart reviewer, educator, and resident influencer!

When she isn’t busy expertly saving lives with a scalpel in one hand and a bag of blood in the other, she keeps the posts flowing, the memories shared, and the team celebrated. A clinical powerhouse, Destiny brings a wealth of ER and critical care experience to our base. She is a talented teacher and is eager to help new clinicians learn to spread their wings and fly!

Thank you, Destiny, for shining the spotlight on the 4-2 family this EMS Appreciation Week. Your commitment to maintaining a standard of excellence, both in the air and online, is very much noticed and appreciated. Med 4-2 would not be the same without you! 💛🖤 🚁
