We have such a great group of responders here at BCFPD station 12. Tonight we recognized and awarded some of those members that stood out.

LT. Valenza was recognized for his dedication to attend every training all year with a perfect 100% attendance, he also attending the most equipment checks.

Squad Leader/Firefighters Kabler answered the all 156 times. That’s the most for a POV responder.

Resident and probationary firefighter Young answered the call an astonishing 368 times!

These Volunteers are the true spirit of our team’s efforts to provide a helping hand. Thank you!

⛔️ FLOOD WATER SAFETY ALERT ⛔️

As many of you know, recent heavy rains have caused flash flooding in our area.

Avoid floodwaters! Never walk, swim, or drive through floodwaters. Even shallow water can be dangerous, hiding sharp objects, debris, or open manholes.

Turn around, Don't Drown! It only takes six inches of water to knock you down and only 12 inches can carry away a small car.
