The Town Columbia is engaged in a State-Mandated Property Revaluation to establish updated real estate assessments for the October 1, 2026 Grand List (for taxes payable in July 2027). The Town has contracted with eQuality Valuation Services, LLC, a Connecticut Certified Revaluation Company, to assist the Assessor
in completing the Revaluation project. The accuracy of the data is vital to the accuracy and uniformity of the assessments.

Please note that the eQuality staff member, Asher Tanganelli is out updating photos. He is driving a 2007, Tan Toyota Avalon with plate BW62215.

The Annual Town Budget Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the Horace Porter School gymnasium, 3 Schoolhouse Rd.

As a result of a valid petition circulated and submitted prior to the above-referenced Town Meeting, the vote on the approval or rejection of the Annual Town Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 shall be adjourned to a referendum to be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Yeomans Hall, 323 Route, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Absentee ballots will be available from the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours and will become available on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The proposed budget is available online hat www.columbiact.gov as well as in the Town Clerk's Office.
