We are getting reports of people in our area getting an alert on their phone that looks similar to the alert pictured. The scammers are telling the people that they have overdue fines for traffic tickets and they will be arrested if they do not pay the scammers.

If you get an alert like this, just delete it.

Stay safe! If you receive anything that you suspect may be a scam, but you are not sure, contact the agency or vendor that it says it is from and check to make sure. Just don't click on a link or phone number in the alert, text or email. Never send them any money or gift cards! Let's put the scammers out of business!

Noah Graham has a level 6 felony warrant for violation of probation for failure to register as a s*x offender. Noah is also wanted in Huntington and Dekalb County.

Lance Turczi has a level 6 felony warrant for intimidation.

Happy National Correctional Officers Week!!!

This week, May 3–9, we recognize National Correctional Officers Week, a time to honor the men and women who serve behind the walls of our jail with professionalism, strength, and integrity.

When someone is taken into custody, it’s often a tense and uncertain moment in their life. Inside the jail, it’s our confinement officers who maintain order, ensure safety, and treat people with respect. Their role is demanding, often unseen, and absolutely essential to the safety of our entire community.

Thank you to the men and women who work behind the walls of our jail!! You are some of the best in the country and we appreciate all your hard work!!
