🚧 City of Colton – 4th Street Project Water Shut-Off Schedule 🚧
As part of the ongoing 4th Street Infrastructure Improvement Project, temporary water service interruptions will be necessary while crews connect new water lines.
Please review the schedule below and plan accordingly. Residents are encouraged to store water ahead of time for drinking, cooking, and household use.

As part of the progress on are 4th street project.

City of Colton will be shutting off water to these areas so we can connect the new water main to the old water main.

These water shut offs each day will be from 8am to 5pm.

Weather permitting we are planning for water shut offs Monday 6/15/26, Tuesday 6/16/26 and Thursday 6/18/26.

We will have the water back on each day as quickly as possible.

⚠️ Community Notice ⚠️

The same individuals who were previously contacted regarding soliciting within the City of Colton are again going door-to-door without obtaining a required peddler's license.

At this time, the City has no information on this company, has not reviewed their credentials, and cannot verify their business practices.

Residents are encouraged to exercise caution and use their own judgment before providing personal information, signing contracts, or making purchases.

As always, if someone is conducting door-to-door sales, you have the right to ask for identification and proof of a valid City of Colton peddler's license.

Please communicate and conduct business at your own risk.

😩🏊 Well... this isn't the update we wanted to share.

Mother Nature and construction schedules teamed up against us this week.

The pool company wasn't able to finish the work today and will be back next week to wrap things up. Add in a less-than-ideal weather forecast, and we've decided to push the pool opening back to Saturday, June 6.

That also means there will be no pool bus service next week. The bus will start rolling on Monday, June 8.

Trust us—we're just as bummed as you are. We've been staring at an empty pool dreaming about cannonballs, sunshine, and hearing kids tell us the water is "too cold" five minutes after they jump in.

A few more days of patience and we'll be ready for a great summer at the Colton Pool!
