The session will explains the 2 types of coverage consumers can choose from for additional insurance to go with their Medicare A and B: Medigaps and Medicare Advantage Plans, what they are, how they coordinate with Medicare and what coverage they provide for those enrolled in Medicare A and B.

Registration for The Ozone Exchange, the Intermountain West’s first ozone-focused air quality conference in 10 years, is open for researchers, policy makers, planners, industry and environmental representatives, and the general public at ozoneexchange.org.

The Ozone Exchange will take place Oct. 26-28, at the Pedersen Toyota Center at the Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colo.

The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization and Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments are jointly hosting a three-day conference on ozone science and attainment challenges specific to the Intermountain West states.

The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is updating the Four-Year Plan in 2026, the strategic plan for aging services in our region. Our next community conversation is at 10 a.m. on August 27 at the Monument Town Hall, we're looking for input from our region on topics including, but not limited to, transportation, meals, aging at home, caregiving and insurance counseling.

The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments is seeking one volunteer to serve as a citizen-at large representative on its Community Advisory Committee. These memberships are open to all residents PPACG area, which includes El Paso, Teller, and Park counties. The Community Advisory Committee meets monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. Meetings are hybrid and are held in PPACG’s offices at 14 S Chestnut St, Colorado Springs, CO 80905 and virtually online.

PPACG is accepting comments on the Fiscal Years 2027-31 Transportation Improvement Program through April 12, and will hold a pair of open houses for individuals to ask questions and submit comments. This document is a four-year plan that implements the long-range regional transportation plan’s goals and identifies the specific transportation and transit projects for which the region will allocate its federal funds.

He was presented with Drive Smart's ceremonial white cowboy hat, presented to individuals who dedicate time and expertise in traffic safety education efforts in the region.
