Homeward Pikes Peak

Homeward Pikes Peak Homeward Pikes Peak offers an array of programs for homeless, mentally ill and addicted individuals or families.

Homeward Pikes Peak creates opportunity for individuals and families to restore health and relationships through treatment and recovery programs, mental health services, and providing housing first. We do this through sober living homes, supportive housing, a residential treatment center, and clinical programs. All of our programs offer case management to set our clients up for success.

Thank you to Nikki and the amazing team at Gather Mountain Blooms for donating beautiful plants to Homeward Pikes Peak! 🌸🌿

Our clients are already hard at work planting and bringing new life to the gardens at Harbor House Recovery, The Commons, and Project Detour. Generous community partnerships like this create more than beautiful spaces β€” they provide opportunities for healing, purpose, connection, and pride in creating a place to call home.

Thank you for helping us grow hope and cultivate community, one plant at a time. πŸ’š

We have exciting news! πŸŽ‰ Homeward Pikes Peak has 10 clients who were formerly experiencing homelessness preparing to move into homes of their own. A safe place to call home is life-changing, but an empty apartment can feel overwhelming.

We’d love to invite community members, businesses, faith groups, and volunteer teams to help create move-in bags or welcome boxes filled with household essentials that help turn a house into a home.

Suggested items include:
🧹 Broom, dustpan, mop, mop bucket, plunger
🚿 Shower curtain with rings, towels, toilet paper
🍽️ Dish soap, sponge, dishes, cups, utensils, pots
πŸ—‘οΈ Garbage can and garbage bags
πŸ‘• Hangers, laundry detergent
πŸ›οΈ Twin/full sheets, comforter, and two pillows

Together, we can help these 10 individuals start this next chapter with dignity, comfort, and hope. If your group would like to help create a move-in kit, please reach out!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’š

At Homeward Pikes Peak, we know that homelessness, trauma, substance use, and mental health are deeply connected. Healing doesn’t happen with housing alone β€” it happens when people feel safe, supported, seen, and connected to care.

That’s why every one of our programs is designed to support not only stability, but emotional and mental well-being.

🏠 Our housing programs provide safety, consistency, and dignity β€” creating the foundation for healing.
🀝 Our Street Outreach Team builds trust and connection with individuals living outside, helping reduce isolation and offering hope.
πŸ’š Our clinic and sober living programs provide peer support, accountability, and a community of encouragement for individuals rebuilding their lives.
πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Programs like Bloom support pregnant and parenting women as they navigate recovery, parenting, and mental wellness together.
🧠 Through case management, partnerships, and individualized support, we help connect clients to mental health resources, treatment, recovery services, healthcare, and community support.

Mental health matters for everyone. This month, we honor the resilience of those we serve and the dedicated staff, partners, and supporters who walk beside them every day.

Healing is possible. Hope is powerful. Community changes lives.
