Last Friday, we celebrated five single moms at Mary’s Home who achieved things they didn’t know were possible when they started. Friends and family cheered as we honored a mom for completing Mary’s Home Academy, three for excelling in college, and another who took the steps necessary to regain custody of her child.

Your partnership helps surround families at Mary’s Home with the support, resources, and encouragement they need to keep moving toward independence and self-sufficiency. We hear about the health insurance crisis in Colorado and the U.S., but we hear less about what is being done to help people.

This week, Dream Centers Women's Clinic and the Colorado Safety Net Collaborative is celebrating Safety Net Awareness Week to bring attention to free or low-cost health clinics.

The Women's Clinic is the only free gynecology Clinic in the state for women 13-64. For 15 years, it has provided free women's health, behavioral health, and other wrap-around services for uninsured and under-insured women in Colorado Springs and around the state.
