🏁🏁🏁 REMINDER: The NASCAR Hauler Parade is coming through Collinsville on Friday, September 11th! 🏁🏁🏁

Grab your crew, pick your spot and watch the NASCAR haulers roll through the City on their way to the 5th Annual Enjoy Illinois 300 Race at World Wide Technology Raceway!

The trucks will be passing through Collinsville from approximately 3-4pm. They will head north on Highway 159 all the way from Fairview Heights to the intersection of 159 & Beltline Road, where they will make a left onto Beltline. The haulers will follow Beltline all the way down to the intersection of Beltline & Highway 157, where they'll make a left onto 157 before they make a right onto the ramp for I-55, which they'll stay on until they exit for WWTR.

While the City is striving for minimal interruptions to traffic, there will be brief delays along the route. Please plan accordingly.

Congrats to our August 2026 "Yard Of The Month" Winner: 314 Vandalia Street!

The Collinsville Community Appearance Board sponsors the "Yard Of The Month" Contest during the months of May through September. The contest encourages yard maintenance and beautification, and recognizes property owners who demonstrate a clear and consistent desire to maintain or improve their property above normal expectations.

Winners receive a gift and recognition by the Mayor at a City Council meeting – and are automatically entered into the City's "Yard Of The Year" Contest in October.

The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce (IL)'s 2026 Italian Fest - The Main Street Event takes place next weekend (Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th)!

Shop 'til you drop all around the City during Collinsville's Fall 2026 City-Wide Garage Sale, which is happening on Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th!

Sale dates are October 9th and 10th RAIN OR SHINE. Hours for each day are 7am-3pm.

Interested in having a Garage Sale at your house?

βœ… City residents can register by calling the City of Collinsville's Parks & Recreation Department at 618-346-7529 by Friday, September 25th to be listed in a Garage Sale Guide that will be posted on the City's website and page.

βœ… If you register through the City of Collinsville's Parks & Recreation Department by September 25th, you will not need a permit. Registering for the City-Wide Garage Sale through the Parks & Rec Department by September 25th will not count against residents' three allowed yard sales per year.

βœ… If you call to register after September 25th, you will be directed to City Hall to apply for a regular Yard Sale permit and will not be included in the City-Wide Garage Sale Guide.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for the City-Wide Garage Sale is only open to addresses that are located within the City limits.
