Branch of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System Collins Public Library is a branch of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System. Our library is designated as both a Rural Technology Center and a Pre-Schooler’s Door to Learning. The children’s area features a beautiful "Children of the World" globe-mobile which is suspended over the children’s computer table. We currently have desktop computers for public use, including computers for children in the youth area. We also have 3 laptops available for use in the library. We are a FREE Wi-Fi site! We have a community room that is available for all community groups! (Meeting room closed at this time.) Library cards are available to all Erie County residents, individuals who work in Erie County, and those who live in the Gowanda Central School District. Our library is located on Main Street (Route 39) in the middle of the block between Mill Street and School Street. The parking lot is accessible from both Main Street (next door to the Friends Church) and Mill Street. Mill Street runs south off Main Street (Route 39), one-half mile east of Route 62.
