The Fire prevention fun has started at Collingdale Fire Company - Station 33 . We have begun the day with 7 classes from The kindergarten center and we will end with our open house for the community. Come down at 6 tonight and you will get to see a lot of cool stuff.

Please come join us Oct 23rd from 6-9pm. There will be a lot to see. We are gonna have a lot of Fire apparatus to see from the Delaware County Emergency Services 911 's Communication Truck and Hazmat 54 to Brookhaven Fire Co. Station 52 Delco, Pa 's Heavy rescue. Morton-Rutledge Fire Company will be bringing TAC 13.. We also will have Quint33, Engine33 and Squad 33. Clifton Heights Fire Company will be there as well.

We are having two demonstrations as well,

We are going to walk through the process of extraction of a vehicle. 6:30pm

We are going to show the hazards of improper Turkey frying with an exposed flame burner. 8:00pm

We will also have Servpro of South Philadelphia/SE Delaware County there to give out info on what happens after a fire , flooding or any type of unexpected situation at your home or business.

The with the kids will be able operate a real fire hose and dont forget Sparky will be the as well.

🔥🚒 Fire Prevention Week Open House 🚒🔥

Join us on Thursday, October 23 at 6:00 PM for an evening of fire safety, demonstrations, and community fun!

👨‍🚒 What’s Happening:

🚗 Vehicle Rescue Demonstration 6:30PM – Watch our firefighters in action as they show how we safely remove someone from a car accident.

🦃🔥 Turkey Fryer Fire Demonstration 8PM – See firsthand what happens when turkey frying goes wrong (and learn how to do it safely at home!).

This is a family-friendly, free event—a perfect way to learn important fire safety tips while supporting your local fire company.

📍 Location: 510 Clifton Avenue - Rear Parking Lot

Come out, bring the kids, and learn how to keep your family safe this season!

We had such a great day at our open house today. I want to thank all of our members that came out to help today. It's truly a team effort. We also have some others to thank as well for coming out to add to our day.

Today is Collingdale Fire Company - Station 33 open house. Come down and check it out. For all ages. 1pm - 4pm

First day of fire Prevention for the kindergarten center. The firehouse will have around 250 kids come through over the next 2 days learning about the trucks what the firefighters wear and what to do in the event of a fire.

Today I was able to monitor Hole #8 at the annual Collingdale Fire Company - Station 33 golf outing. Hole in one to win a car.

This year the hole is dedicated to Jerry Boyle. We lost Jerry last December to Pancreatic Cancer. He was one hell of a guy. I only knew Jerry for 5 or so years. I miss the things he would teach me about the trucks.

Getted checked out.
