There's a large election going on in Shelby County, TN right now! Early voting poles are open now through July 30 with election day on August 4. See link below for early voting locations and times as well as a link to the sample ballot. It's a long ballot, but don't get discouraged. Message me if you'd like to know what the various positions do for our county, or if you'd like my recommendations on who to vote for. There's a certain candidate running for Shelby County Commission District 2, that would love your support... ;)

For those living in Shelby County (or those that have friends/family in Shelby County), early voting began today for the County wide primary election (primary election day is May 3). See link below for early voting locations and times. ALL Shelby County positions (Mayor, County Clerk, Commissioners, District Attorney, etc.) will be on the ballot, so it is an important election. Go Vote and tell those that you know to go vote!

STOP what you are doing and take a look at what the County Commission is up to. On Monday the Commission will vote on a redistricting map. The four maps that are being reviewed are linked below. Some of these maps completely break up our municipalities. 3 of the maps below place Collierville High School in a different District than the rest of Collierville. If you have time please attend our meeting on Monday at 3pm to voice your map preference. If you don't have time, please email ALL of the county commissioners to let them know your thoughts and map preference.

Prayers to all those involved in the shooting incident at the Collierville Kroger today. Special thanks to the Collierville First responders and the Collierville police force! The support provided by the County Sheriff’s office and other municipalities was amazing. Hug those that you love often.

Early voting in the Shelby County primary is going on now until August 1 with Election Day on 8/6. Get out and vote! Polls are set up for social distancing. Bring your mask and ID.

Mr. Allen was strong supporter of Collierville and very freely gave of his time to help the town. His leadership will be missed. Many prayers to his family.

Collierville Alderman Tom Allen died peacefully at his home Tuesday evening, July 21. He was 84.

As of approximately 12:15am on Tuesday morning, June 23, the Shelby County budget was approved for fiscal year 2021! No property tax increases and no increases to the vehicle registration fees!

I bought lunch today for 100 people. Most I don’t know and will never meet. They are the workers of the Shelby County Health Department that have been working tirelessly since March 7 to try to stay ahead of COVID19 and answer the public’s questions. Most are doing jobs they never trained for and jobs they weren’t hired for. I challenge you to go out and do something for those that are taking care of all of us at this time.
