Please join us in congratulating Officer Eric Gonzalez on being named the Collierville Police Department Employee of the Month for April 2026.

Officer Gonzalez continues to demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong work ethic each shift. In addition to his patrol responsibilities, he actively assists with the department’s UAS program and serves as a Field Training Officer, helping mentor and developing new officers. He is consistently among the first to respond to critical incidents and willingly takes on additional responsibilities without hesitation.

Throughout the month of April, Officer Gonzalez was involved in several notable incidents involving proactive enforcement, narcotics investigations, and firearm-related arrests. His dedication to proactive policing and commitment to serving the community make him a tremendous asset to Alpha Shift and the Collierville Police Department.

Congratulations Officer Gonzalez.

Lucius E & Elsie C Burch Jr Library and Friends of the Collierville Burch Library are hard at work today with so many amazing activities to kick off the Summer Reading Program! I so appreciate all the Town Departments and employees who come together for all our children! Making memories and having fun while reading!

Town offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, 2026.

The regularly scheduled Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall.

The Sanitation collection schedule for the week will be as follows:

• Garbage, recyclables and commercial collection will occur the day after your regular collection day.
• There will be no appliance pick up on Thursday, May 28th. The next available appliance pick up will be Thursday, June 4th.

Collierville High School Draco Playhouse was well represented at the 2026 Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards last night! Hayden Hooper won Outstanding Lead Actor, Maggie Dinstuhl won Outstanding Lead Actress, Jordan Farley won Best Supporting Actor & Addison Northcott won Best Featured Dancer! Congratulations to all!
