Join us for a free concert at Collegeville Community Park
When: Tuesday July 9th at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The corner of Park Ave and W. 3rd

Champion Lowriders Sweet Treats Food Truck will be there will treats and drinks for purchase.
Bring a blanket or chair to sit on - the park is dog friendly.

There will also be a collection for the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry. Please consider bringing the following items they are in need of: canned peas, cream soups, baked bean, skillet dinners, canned past, canned tomatoes, pasta sauce, rick, pancake mix and syrup, jelly, coffee, paper towels, tissues, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner. Cash donations will also be accepted.

Seasonal Job Opportunities Available

The Collegeville Trappe Joint Public Works Department is now accepting applications for two seasonal maintenance positions for the summer. These roles involve performing a variety of manual labor tasks related to the maintenance and repair of borough facilities and public works infrastructure. Candidates should be familiar with operating equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, and blowers, as well as using hand tools including shovels, rakes, brooms, sledgehammers, and picks. The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team is essential. Applicants must also possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
The positions are scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an hourly wage of $18. A preferred start date is mid May.

Applications can be requested by emailing [email protected]. Completed applications may be submitted via email to the same address or delivered in person to the Collegeville Trappe Joint Public Works Department at 220 W. First Ave., Trappe, PA 19426. Applications will be accepted until both positions have been filled.

During a snow emergency, it is unlawful to park vehicles on established snow emergency routes. The use of snow tires or chains are required to drive a motor vehicle on an emergency route. Getting stuck or leaving a vehicle unattended on these routes may result in fines.

Snow Emergency Routes
• Clahor Ave (between 29 and Trappe Borough)
• East 5th Ave
• East Main Street (from 1st Ave to Trappe Borough)
• East 9th Avenue
• First Ave , also known as Rte. 29(from Main Street to Perkiomen Township)
• Second Ave, also know as Rte. 29 (from Main Street to Upper Providence Township)
• Park Avenue
• West 8th Ave (from Main Street to Clahor)
• West 5th Ave

If you can stay off the roads during the storm please do so. It will make it easier for the folks clearing the roads as well as those who must be out during the storm.

Remember after the snow stops to clear your sidewalks and if you have a fire hydrant near you to help clear the snow away from the hydrant.
