Perkiomen Township Fire Company Volunteers serving the residents of Perkiomen Township with pride and professionalism since 1951. We are in constant need of volunteers.

Each of our volunteer members takes pride in their specific area of expertise whether it be fire fighting, fire police, fund raising or administrative work. 🚒 2:13pm Saturday: Tanker 66, Engine 66 and an all‑volunteer crew responded to a vehicle accident on Rahns Rd (PA 113) near Cherry Alley. Crews found a minivan on its side; the driver had self‑extricated.

Thanks to Trappe Fire Police, PA State Police, Collegeville Fire Company, Skippack Emergency Medical Services and Norm's Save Station for the assist.

All units cleared at 3:10pm.

Friday, September 11th 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93 which crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Patriot Day serves as a remembrance of the lives lost on that September morning.

By a joint resolution approved 12/18/2001, (Public Law 107-89) has designated September 11th of each year as “Patriot Day” which also directs the flags be lowered to half-staff for the entire day on September 11.

Our lights at the fire station will turn red tonight to honor and remember all those who died on 9/11/2001 including 343 members of the FDNY.

On Wednesday evening, members of the 9/11 Remembrance Run made their way down Trappe Road and Gravel Pike in front of Perkiomen Township Fire Company, escorted by the UPT Police Department.

Skippack Fire Company and Lower Providence Township Police Department, Montgomery County, PA also joined us roadside to honor the runners.

Their journey began in Shanksville, PA, continued to the Pentagon, and will carry on toward Ground Zero in New York City, where they will arrive on 9/11. The run raises awareness and funds for Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a nonprofit providing mortgage‑free homes and critical support to first responders and military families.

The team spent some time at The Office Tavern before continuing north, and we were proud to stand with them as part of this powerful remembrance.

Monday evening: Pipeline 66 and our all‑volunteer crew were repositioned to stand by at Upper Merion Township Fire & EMS Station 56A on Allendale Rd in King of Prussia while their crews continued operating at a working fire in the 1700‑block of DeKalb St, Bridgeport.

Mutual aid keeps the region covered, and our volunteers were proud to support the mission.
