An anonymous caller reported a dog left in a vehicle in the parking lot of Aldi in the 5900 block of Elementary Way. The vehicle and its owner were located, and the dog was found to be fine.
A burglar alarm was reported at Wolftever Creek Elementary School in the 5000 block of OoltewahâRinggold Road. No audible alarm was heard, no vehicles were present, and all doors were locked and secured.
An unknown 911 call was received from inside Walmart in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Nothing suspicious was located inside the store or in the parking lot.
Officers responded to an unknown 911 call in the 8600 block of Tradewind Drive. Arguing was heard in the background on the initial call, but the parties on scene reported that it was verbal only.
A wellâbeing check was conducted in the 9100 block of Integra Hills after neighbors overheard a person in a manic state. No law enforcement action was required.
A fire exit alarm was reported at Dollar Tree in the 9300 block of Apison Pike. The building and its doors were found to be secure.
Saturday, May 30th, 2026
An employee at Subway in the 9400 block of Apison Pike reported ongoing suspicious activity involving an individual who has been repeatedly coming to the store since February, making inappropriate comments and leaving items. The individual left before police arrival.
An unknown 911 call was received in the 9600 block of Bowen Trail, but the response was canceled after dispatch contacted the reporting party, who confirmed the call was accidental.
Another unknown 911 call was received in the 4800 block of University Drive. Nothing was located.
An MVC with unknown injuries was reported in the 8800 block of Old Lee Highway in front of Cracker Barrel. A Chattanooga police unit arrived simultaneously and determined the crash occurred within CPD jurisdiction. CPD handled the investigation.
A wellâbeing check was requested in the 9600 block of Bowen Trail after a caller was unable to reach a family member. Contact was made, and everything was found to be okay.
A twoâvehicle crash occurred in the 9100 block of Integra Preserve Court. There were no injuries. One driver was cited for Financial Responsibility.
A verbal domestic disorder occurred in an apartment in the 8600 block of Tradewind Circle involving two individuals arguing over WiâFi and other civil matters; one person left for the evening.
Officers responded to a basement motion alarm in the 9600 block of Bowen Trail. The residence was cleared, and everything checked out okay.
A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 9400 block of Apison Pike. The trunk was open, no one was around, the registered owner was not located, and the vehicle did not appear to have been entered. The trunk was secured.
A noise complaint was reported in an apartment in the 8600 block of Tradewind. Officers did not hear any noise.
Police responded to a singleâvehicle crash in the 10900 block of Apison Pike, where the vehicle struck a utility pole. The driver was found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI.

Suspicious activity was reported at Subway in the 9400 block of Apison Pike. The individual identified from a prior incident was issued a trespass warning banning him from the business.
A disorderâprevention call occurred in an apartment in the 8600 block of Tradewinds Circle. A resident reported returning home after being away, but was advised that no police permission was required for him to return.
A citizen requested assistance in the 4900 block of Swinyar Drive for help with a child's car seat. Adjustments were made, and the seat was secured properly.
A suspicious person was found sleeping in front of a business in the 5900 block of Main Street. The individual was instructed to move on per management.
A deceptiveâpractice report was taken in the 9400 block of Leyland Drive regarding a possible scam involving a petâsitting job posted on the Nextdoor app. The caller had provided a copy of a driverâs license, but had not lost any money.
A deceptiveâpractice call in the 4900 block of Swinyar Drive involved concerns over credit card use. Because the card was provided voluntarily for the purchases, the matter was determined to be a civil issue.
A parkingâlot crash occurred in the 5900 block of Elementary Way involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.
A miscellaneous complaint occurred in the 9200 block of Lee Highway, where a delivery driver reported that a vehicle revved its engine and may have attempted to run them over. The driver did not see the individual, and no camera footage was available.
A suspicious-person complaint occurred in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway when a person flagged officers down, stating that others wanted to fight him. The other parties denied this.
A suspiciousâperson call in the 8800 block of Old Lee Highway resulted in officers identifying an individual in the Cracker Barrel parking lot who was subsequently arrested for DUI.
A suspiciousâactivity call occurred in the 5400 block of Fitch. A resident reported the doorbell ringing on the hour for several hours. Officers saturated the area but found nothing suspicious.
